Boys Varsity Baseball

Coach Yoder is entering his 13th season as a coach here at Owen J Roberts. This is his third year coaching at the high school level; previously, he coached in the Middle School baseball program since he started his teaching career at OJR back in 2006. His first Middle School team was the team that would eventually finish 2nd in the State back in 2010. He is a native of the Scranton area and during his high school years he was a Varsity starter as a freshman, mainly behind the dish along with some mound appearances. He later went on to Ursinus College where he focused on his studies and began his career as a Latin and Spanish teacher. He now manages and plays on three amateur adult baseball teams (18+, 25+ and 30+) with both the New Jersey Independent Baseball League and the Bux-Mont Men’s Baseball League. Coach Yoder has also spent many years as a Coach for Norchester both in the Babe Ruth division as well as the City County division before getting his American Legion umpire certification back in 2012. He is honored to be able to work with these student athletes every day on and off the field and appreciates all of your support over the past 12 years.  Coach Yoder resides in Pottstown, PA with his wife Amanda and daughter Elysia and Kaitlyn.
